My Aunt Zara was 16 when she met her soul mate, and that was way back before TV was a big amazement! When she was 18 and he was 23yrs old a week before the wedding he had gone to war. They had decided to wait till he came home to never came home he died 3 weeks after he arrived to his station. My Aunt was inconsolable. She dedicated her life to taking care of her nieces and nephews and her sisters ( she had four) she took care of her family. I asked her one time " Aunty, Why didn't you ever fall in love and get married" Her answer " when you fall in love with your soul mate, the one God has chosen for you, you know, and when they are taken away only patience will allow us to be together again, so I decided to dedicate my life doing what I love to do and that it to take care of my family. She died a virgin at 85 and was always known for being joyful and loving. You remind me of her so much.
