I think for a Nissan this is probably the best looking car they produced in years. Some minor gripes, but overall a very good option in an already busy field.

It's a Duracell car! The copper top! Love these new car reviews. Keep'em coming!

Overall, it looks pretty good! Those capacitive buttons are such a disappointment though. Cars need physical controls in my opinion. I'm really liking the honest and off the cuff opinions.

Honestly, my biggest gripe with capacitive buttons is that you can't feel where they are and they immediately activate. I firmly believe that a few raised ridges/bumps and a force sensor would go a LONG way to making them easier to use. But at that point might as well just have

For me the copper metallic is a 10 of 10. I love it.😊

Can we please stop with the haptic touch sensors rather than regular buttons? I hope this doesn't become a trend amongst new EVs and ICEs

I dont know why but I really love these auto focus videos as no gear is being used just Marques and his phone. Feels natural. A youtuber on road with his phone creating amazing contents!!

I had the chance to drive one. I think most people compare every EV vehicle to Tesla. I think even though they did a lot of things right, I believe Nissan is the real gem. If you are not interested in showing off and your goal is to reduce your personal fossil fuel consumption while having a practical vehicle, then Nissan works all day long. By the way, I did order an Ariya and look forward to taking delivery in December 2022 (aka Late Fall 2022)

I’ve had a new Leaf since January and when people ask me about it I explain that it’s totally niche needs. For instance, it’s only for all the local driving, school, work, stores etc…so it’s not for road trips. I actually love it. As for the Ariya, Probably not. Too expensive for just everyday driving and still not good for road trips. My leaf doesn’t have those stupid buttons either. Don’t get caught up in luxury too much, pseudo or otherwise cause most people are just going to be surviving the next 5 years or so.

I'd love to see you do a review of the 2023 Chevy Bolt. It's definitely the most boring EV around, but for $25k, it's not terrible. Could be cool to compare it to a more expensive EV like the Hyundai Ionic 5.

Love this new channel. Really honest overview of great cars. Also enjoy the smart phone filming. Great.

The Ariya has 1 killer feature… it has a button to activate battery heating. That's something that every car in cold climates should have, since I do not want to get to a fast charger and get 30kW like I do right now with my Peugeot.

I was skeptical about the size of this car until I was able to physically see & touch it at the NYAuto Show & fell in love with it! The disappointing thing about this though, is that it’s already a year behind schedule. It would be some sort of comfort to think that since it’s in your hands in NJ, that there are more on the way to the Tri-State area. I know the haptic buttons are a bust for many, but there will most likely be something about any car coming out, that everyone won’t like…just saying. The copper color has grown on me, but I’d probably still go for a Silver before that!

Love this format. It's so straight forward and minimal. I guess this is also why it works so well for Doug.

I actually really like these copper/metal colors on electric cars. I think it makes them stand out. That being said, I hope more color options start popping out, bring back colorful cars.

Love how Marques proves that you can do a great video with just your phone. Still quality content

The price is why I leased this vehicle. $199/month for 24 months with $0 down. Nothing else compares.

This channel is becoming my favorite automobile channel and I look forward to more detailed car talk and more different car videos. :-)

We shopped for and compared EVs for a long time. We ended up on the fence between ID.4, Ioniq 5/6, EV6, and Ariya. I was surprised, but after re-test-driving those, we choose the Ariya, because going back and forth, we noticed the interior quality difference, the comfort and the design. We're still very happy with our choice. The max charging rate may be lower than the Hyundai and Kia, but that only matters on a long road trip, and Ariya's charging curve is smoother, and fast-charging speed on a long road trip being slightly slower, is much less important to us than how comfortable we are sitting in the car for hours.
