Karen Read is accused of driving drunk and hitting her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O'Keefe, before leaving him to die in January 2022. Read is now facing several charges, including second-degree murder for the death of O'Keefe. Read claims that she is the victim of a massive frame-up by state and local police.

I like how the judge asks the prosecutor if he wants to object and then sustains it for him too. That’s truly a class act!

The judge has the audacity to tell them they’re wasting the juror’s time when SHES the one who’s constantly doing side bar and delaying the entire case, plus doing short days.

We all know that if any of us "non-cop" folk had a beat up, near death, man on our front lawn, our homes would be locked down with in minutes and all our butts would be standing out in that cold snow because the PC is having the victim on our front These corrupt cops want us all to believe the BS they are saying about why they did not lock this home down. We all know why it was not locked down!!! This case makes my blood boil.

This is so obvious to me this is a big time cover up by the police. Not saying they are all in on it, but come on... These cops saying they had no reason or probable cause to go into the house??! Give me a break! If any of us lay people were in this situation, the cops would have demanded and got a search warrant for the whole frickin house, and would have demanded to interview everyone there on record. This is ludacris. And these cops look ridiculous in their testimony of this.

Police officer for 24 years & you didn't interview the people who lived at the crime scene, didn't fact check a witness, didn't take legit blood samples, didn't even seal the blood evidence, didn't close off the crime scene, didn't check the house for foul play, WHAT DID YOU DO? Because you definitely DIDN'T DO YOUR JOB!

The judge talks about not wasting the jury's time or something along those lines. But she's the one cutting these trial days short with half days. Maybe she should go a full business day and not waste anyone's time. Get it over with.

If she is found guilty she will get an appeal. Objection. Sustained. Why?? What grounds? This is the most ridiculous trial I’ve ever seen and it is very shady.

The incompetency of Officer Lank is beyond the pale! 24 years as a police officer and does not know how to affix evidence tape to a bag containing evidence. What was he taught in the school to become a police officer? Are police officers required continuing education after receiving their certificate after graduating from cop school? I would be scared to to live in Canton because of the ineptness of every police officer I have seen give testimony in this case. I would like to know how the O'Keefe family feels about the "investigations" done by the police in this case.

There wouldn’t be so many side bars if the lawyers were able to say why they’re objecting. They’re being told they’re wrong by a sustained objection but having to guess why. It’s a ridiculous waste of time.

Judge says get me the reports by tomorrow morning. Gets her the report by the night before. Then doesn’t bother to look or ask for them before court. Then says they can’t use them because she hasn’t seen them???? WOWOWOWOW
