The Jeudy extension is a head scratcher but is not comparable to the Watson disaster . That will cost Berry his job unless he lucks out drafting a franchise

Watson is almost completely out of excuses now and I don’t see this ending well. The “rust” excuse was obliterated by Flacco. Dave keeps using the offensive scheme excuses but we all saw what a decent QB looks like, not to mention setting franchise passing records.

I foresee Watson struggling to read his progressions, throwing the ball short and into the ground, trying to run out of clean pocket and not being accurate on the occasional deep throws. Then, the running game will get crushed and they’ll double Njoku (high/low like the Texans learned) and this offense will struggle with Watson getting frustrated along with Haslem.

I just don’t see the Browns prolonging this failed huge roll of the dice investment.
