I wish Scotty would publish a list of all common vehicles with the best years/motors. It would be a huge gift to all of us looking for a vehicle. I would pay a fee for the list.

Scotty your videos are just fabulous and you are such a straightforward and honest person but it’s a pleasure to watch you permanently. Thank you so much for your effort all that you do for us in my case an ignorant in mechanics! God Bless You!

I love Scotty's videos. I seen he said some good cheap cars. So I just got me a 2000 Camry for $1200. So I'm happy I'm disabled and don't have a lot of money to even live on. So took awhile to save up the money. Got 300 miles sadly but they last. So happy not to be stuck at home. When you live 20 miles from town you need a car lol anyway love a real mechanic trying to help people out instead of ripping you off.

Hi Scotty, I currently have the 2021 Honda CR-V AWD 1.5T and I am happy with my vehicle so far. It handles great in the snow, excellent for daily use, road trips, plenty of space and good gas mileage. In my opinion is a good value for the money. Honda for life Scotty.

I just got a 2018 Civic (before this video came out haha) absolutely love it.

Something to note about the 2016-2021 civics. The front bumper/grille doesn't protect the A/C condenser from flying bugs and rocks very well, so the condenser gets hit frequently and eventually starts leaking refrigerant, the stuff that keeps your AC blowing cold.

Ultimately, you end up with hot air blowing out of the vents due to a failed condenser, and the symptoms are much worse on the driver side.

Prevention is easy, though. A $4 lock in gutter guard (metal screen) from home depot, trimmed a few inches length-wise, fits perfectly behind the grille and can be held in place with the clips alone.

I drove from Nashville to Chicago and back right after replacing my failed condenser, charging the AC system, and installing the gutter guard. I heard the screen deflect rocks several times during my trip, and I found a dead wasp stuck in one part of the screen after my trip. I am very, very glad I took the 5 minutes of effort to install the screen.

I've seen a 1990 Honda Accord once with 600, 000+ and still was running fine

Honda's are the toughest beaters I've ever owned. Tried other cars with higher k's and they just don't compare. As long as you top up the oil and watch the coolant, these bloody cars just don't quit!

2005 CRV, she's got 160k and we got her for 5, 000 a couple of years ago. My favorite car we've ever owned. Love the stow away table and full size exterior mounted spare. So much leg room! Honda should make a throw back model!

Here is something funny. We own a 2013 Acura RDX, a 2008 Honda Civic, a 2016 CRV (non turbo) and 2009 Toyota Tacoma. We bought all of these before I started watching Scotty’s channel. I think he would be proud of my choices.
