Thanks for letting us know James. I think this is a wonderful feature, nothing worse than someone who excepts an offer and then they hold up the listing for four days or so, making it unavailable to somebody who will pay, so I love this!

The only thing I’m worried about is buyers getting mad because someone else ended up buying the item before they could pay for it because they thought they already had it, so they end up giving negative feedback.

sounds like a good solution. So frustrating when buyers take our items out of print but never pay.

It also eliminates having to pay to relist an item( if you pay insertion fees). If they never pay, you end up having to pay for relisting and not get reimbursed.

The stupid thing is, they had just implemented the Immediate payment on all accepted (not seller-sent) offers. This new feature some of you are experiencing was something ebay said they were going to do years ago. They just need to make up their minds and be consistent. If they can require immediate payment on offers, why back peddle and do this now? The new update says immediate payment will "soon" be required for offers we send as well. We shall see.

Haha, that happened to me this morning and I was like what the heck just happened?! The only thing I don't have immediate pay on is auctions because eBay won't let me 😂

Thanks James for the information update!! I think that might annoy a lot of buyers ... yes .. almost sound like auctions. They should send the buyers a message letting them know that so they don't wait too. I would love to see the end of non-paying and slow paying bidders though.

I’ve noticed eBay is sending a send offer to me on people that have viewed an item not just watching and that’s why I’ve not had much action on my offers!

I hate the buyers who buy, dont pay and list it on a different site then want me to drop ship. Good if it does away with them

Sounds like it might be an issue. Some people take a few hours to pay as they have to add money on their card so this might backfire on the the Seller.
