My theory is that all the matter in the previous universe was turned into energy during the "big crunch", and then it exploded out into matter again in our big bang. Nothing comes from nothing, but matter can come from energy, and vice-versa.

I do beleive as humans we will always and forever be limited on our knowledge of the universe, or the human mind is just too primitive at this point.i dont think our fragile human minds can even begin the understand some of these questions. Sure logically we can do a lot of quantum mathematics and arrive at an educated guess but I don't think we will ever arrive at an answer we are satisfied with.

I always thought that the Big Bang was to describe the universe before the singularity as all cosmological data points to the galaxy converting into a extremely small point, the best source of answers would lie in the quantum studies rather than the cosmological.

The universe is eternal, and time never began--people really should realize these things--and can, if they will but think carefully..
