Florence Henderson & Robert Reed on The Love Boat

Further BB trivia....because there's always more!!! Florence's Love Boat partner here is Gordon Jump from WKRP in Cincinatti, who ALSO did 7 eps of The Love Boat (tied with Robert Reed!) BUT...Jump also appeared on TWO episodes of The Brady Bunch in 1970 - once as a thrift store worker who may or may not have Marcia's diary with her notes on Desi Arnaz, Jr., and the second time as a mechanic who Greg visits to find his dad's lost plans.... Oh, those Bradys and their lost plans!! (Oh yeah, Jump was also in the creepiest Very Special Ep of all time - Diff'rent Strokes! Yikes!)

That is pretty funny. They did guest star together on a short lived show, Free Spirit, which was basically a Bewitched ripoff, only not nearly as funny. On that show, they played different characters, a couple on the verge of divorce. Oddly enough there were no Brady references. They also appeared one more time pre "Bradys 90 redo" on Day By Day as Mike and Carol. The episode pokes fun at the Brady conventions, and also features Maureen McCormick, Mike Lookinland, Christopher Knight, and Anne B Davis. It looked like Reed enjoyed the gentle ribbing of the show. Christopher Daniel Barnes was on the series, and not long after, would play Greg Brady in the Brady movies.
