Speaking as an older man(56), let me say these are all tip top points and I think I have probably got all of them wrong. But the worst of all? Time with parents/grandparents. Young gents, I can’t stress it enough, when they’re gone, they really are gone and if every tear you ever cried was a preparation for the awful moment, take it from me, you are not prepared. So learn that family recipe off your mom, let your dad bore you with the same story he’s told you a million times because when they’re gone, you’ll give anything to hear it again.

1) 01:00 Giving beats taking.
2) 02:01 Presentation matters.
3) 04:00 Don't take your parents for granted.
4) 05:21 Invest in yourself.
5) 06:49 Advice is overrated.
6) 07:43 Train to failure.
These are absolutely wonderful.
As a man in his late 50s, I want to sum up something for you younger gentleman.
1) Do the best you can with what you have.
2) Be kind to others.
3) Like yourself.
Stick with these three simple things and you will be fine.
Thanks again for yet another wonderful video!

The point that hit home for me was the one about parents and grandparents.
My mother died from cancer when I was 6 years old and for the next few years my grandmother helped raise me. She was extremely good to me, and I have fond memories of spending time with her. When I was a teenager we moved away from my hometown where my grandma lived and as I got caught up in the usual teenager stuff, I kind of lost contact with her. I rarely called, wrote, or visited unless I was forced to. I really feel guilty about that. She deserved so much better from me. She passed away when I was in my twenties and I hadn’t spoken to her in years.

I moved back in with my parents after school. Not only does this help me save money, but it means I get to spend more time with them. Better yet, it lets me help them do the things that they struggle with now that they are getting older. People turn their noses up at the thought of living with parents but I love them, and I like to spend time with them. As a culture we have moved away from this but it is so necessary to be close to your family. It is what has made me the man that I am today, and it is the way I am going to raise my family. You are much appreciated brother.

45 here and lost my dad a year ago. He lived a long life but it never feels like quite enough time. Definitely cherish the time you still have with your elders and don’t take them for granted

Great look in this video! Beautiful color combination; great summer style with the unstructured coat and light shirt.

In an era of "red pill" scammers, trying to charge their guys $3, 995, (eventually reduced to $995)for a "yacht" party, James is the hero Gen Z needs right now.

From a young gentleman I can confirm that training to failure is the best teacher. I can't recall how many times I trained (physically or mentally) to grow as the man I am today.

Excellent topic which I hope your viewers will think carefully about. I'm struck by how many older men, like me, comment on your videos. I think this is a strong sign that the content here is worthwhile.

James, thank you for producing this video filled with sage advice seemingly beyond your years. I particularly resonated with topics regarding parents / grandparents and in the benefits of experiencing failure. Well done young man!

Willing to fail can be a key to success
When I took loan and my inheritance at 19 to buy first home to flip
My friends around me told me I am stupid and should use my inheritance for degrees

Now with my high school diploma I make more than my mates with degrees & huge debt from degree

Could you make a video about mark mahoney’s style and image and how to apply that style into daily life, so less exeggerated, maybe also something that would be appropriate to wear at school

I'm 67, so older than most of you. When I was finally ready to marry at 22, I made a plan. I thought about the young women I knew and decided I would find out what characteristics about them I wanted in my wife. After searching for a couple of years I found the gal that I ended up marrying. We've been married for 44 years now. Don't bother dating women that don't have your values. Find a woman that does have your values, that you get along with and work on developing a relationship.

It can be difficult to know how much a grandparent appreciates your attention. It takes so little effort on your part to give them joy. When these loved ones are gone, you will think of many things you will wish you had done or communicated, or, especially asked them.

This has been the best video that I have seen from you. Great job.

As a 23 year old, who had a similar attitude to savings in my early 20s, this is satisfying to watch.

Wow, that was an incredible performance by the acrobats. The audience was captivated by their daring stunts and graceful movements. Each flip and twist seemed to defy gravity, leaving everyone in awe. The thunderous applause that followed was well-deserved for such a breathtaking show.

It is through serving others first, where we find meaning and purpose. Establish a firm foundation from which you can build on. Develop yourself starting now, physically, spiritually, socially, mentally and financially. There isn’t a quick way to achieve your version of the American Dream. Spend as much time with your family. My father died when I was 11 years old. My mom is in her mid 80s now. Our two children are adults now. My wife and I are simply happy to be in our children’s presence. I’m so glad we spent every available minute outside of work obligations with our children when they were little. We didn’t do “boys or girls night outs.” We didn’t need it. We had/have lots of fun with each other, and with our children. Semper Fidelis Fellas! Stay motivated and happy.
