This is so fucking dumb. we want the overall team draft grade not which players won. everyone who got drafted in the first round is a winner like wtf 😭

I’m an Atlanta fan and I’m actually glad we got Penix. Call me crazy but that man is a DAWG 🔥💯

I think the Vikings crushed it! I was expecting the Vikings to give up a couple 1st rounders to move up and take JJ. They moved up with a 6th to get him. They used that saved 1st round pick to move up and take a stud on the edge!
I will admit, the Bears did a good job. Bust or not, you can't say they didn't try to get him weapons.

As a Bears fan I am still stunned Rome fell to us. Absolutely loved our draft! Also gotta give credit to Minnesota, getting Turner at 17 was a steal. The north is going to be brutal...

Spielman is a true gentleman. When the dust settles one must evaluate the efficiency of these trades. The results are great, but the cost didn’t need to be this high. To attain the 17th pick, the Vikings give up the 42nd pick, pick 167, pick 188 in 2024. Additionally they surrender their second, third and fourth round pick in 2025.
The Vikings Got back 232nd pick in the 7th round. My point is, before you assign genius to this, I would point out that it doesn’t take a genius to ring up your credit card. Understand that the Vikings paid much more for the Dallas Turner pick than they did for the JJ McCarthy pick, however ironic this may be.

Broncos reached so bad 😂. They could have had Bo Nix in the second round

Thought that SF had a bad pick too. But Steve Smith approved him, and the guy hasn’t missed a receiver that he’s stamped with his approval yet. He called Puka last year btw😅

I'm disappionted I really thought a 7th Quarterback was gonna get drafted in the first round.

Its like Roger Goodell specifically asked all early drafts to take QBs to put a strain on LV Raiders

I'm proud of my panthers trading up 1 spot, that gave us a pick in every round now.

As it should, the Draft is optimism filled.
Now we see which draftees are focused on playing.

Why do all the executives shake hands after drafting a player? You don't know if you're pick is even good yet... You actually have to pick someone. There's nothing to shake about.

Atlanta has the best Quarterback room in the NFL 🎉

The Vikings absolutely crushed this round. They were able to get JJ McCarthy while also keeping their other first round pick, and then using it on an high upside Edge rusher that is literally tailor made for a Brian Flores defense. And they still have an early 4th plus a handful of 6th and 7th round picks to work with. If I were them, I'd be hoping that some of these cornerbacks continue to slide and maybe they can poach a guy like Khyree Jackson, Caelen Carson, or Renardo Green at pick 108.

I also really love what the Colts, Steelers, Eagles, and Jags were able to do. Somehow the NFL let the Eagles just waltz into the CB1 of the draft which was their exact need. And the Jags trading down and still getting BTJ is a masterclass.

My Lions also did a great job getting Terrion Arnold, but giving up the 73rd pick is a really high price to pay to move up 5 spots. Might have been better to stick and hope Terrion falls, and then pivot to Dejean if he didn't. Oh well, he's a great player and a great fit.

I’ve been in Detroit since Wednesday for the draft. I can’t believe I’m saying this but this place has been awesome 😂

Saw Ricky Pearsall play at nearby ASU b4 transferring druing the covid fiasco. May ex ASU guy Prisco is upset at that--we also saw Daniels transfer then, only to later win the Heismann. Pearsall also grew up down the street in Chandler (played at Tempe Corona Del Sol HS), next to Gilbert where 49ers current top QB Brock Purdy played (Gilbert Perry HS). That connection could also have played a very small role..they likely know each other well & have maybe practiced or worked out together... Not a bad pick in my estimation; he has talent.
