Edey is interesting. I think he went too low personally, but players his size are really hard to judge. His upside is a mix of Yao Ming and Tim Duncan. His downside is Acie Earl. I see him being a lot closer to his upside, and for me, only the Knecht pick is more perfect for a team based on best player available and most complementary skill set. Reddick couldn't have asked for a better start to his coaching career.

Can’t really trust analysts from Lakers fans😂 imo Zach edey to the grizzlies one of the best picks of the night him and JJJ gonna be hard to score on in the paint not to mention what him and ja can do on the pick and roll

Hilarious to be beating a team who needed a big more than anything over the head for taking a flyer on a big man who is only the sixth player in history to be a consensus back to back National Player of the Year. You don't think a big man who's greatest strengths are screen setting and offensive rebound put backs (both of which he is elite at btw) will be a great fit next to Ja and Jaren? He's basically a bigger Steven Adams with good hands and isn't a liability on the FT line. Even if he somehow doesn't work out I don't see how you can blame the Grizzlies for taking a swing at him. Wow.
