Oh my, this is a side of Pierre Thomas we have never seen. He’s normally so stoic and formal.

Powerful and sobering. As an educator, I find it maddening that there are those who want to revise this part of this country's history. It happened and you can never erase it. Years ago, I visited The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. I stood in an authentic slave holding pen and, like Pierre, experienced a flood of emotions that overwhelmed me. It was as if the ancestors were right there with me.

It's still amazes me that people have banned teaching and learning the brutal truth of our history.

I just never could understand how people could have been so Cruel to other people just because of the color of their skin
These kinds of people Harbor hatred and insecurity and jealousy within their souls
They were The most miserable people on this earth

What a heartbreaking, emotional story?!

Its amazing how sone people used tactics of cruelty, abusing Christianity, and more to enslave people for the sake of profit.

The plight of our people has been replaced with so much love, you think we would be more angry from all the evil, gaslighting and erasure. These stories are all too true for black Americans.

What a powerful, moving segment. To not only experience all this but to have it filmed and public for all to see, wow. Truly truly moving.
