There are some really ugly and poorly built cars on the road. Some are gone forever. Some just stand out n the crowd. Here are 15 of the worlds worst cars ever built. The years range from the 1950’s to present day. Some you may have heard of, and some you may not have heard of. Sit back and enjoy this list of the 15 worst made cars of all time these are in no particular order and not really in chronological order either.

There are many, many contenders for the title of worst car ever made - so many in fact that picking the absolute worst isn’t easy. How could these manufacturers miss the mark even in this day and age? Some models still haunt the brands to this day. I’m sure you can think of more - please add them in the comments.

Chevrolet Chevette. Absolute worst car I've ever driven. I can't believe GM sold as many as they did over the years. My boss had one for a company vehicle and I had to drive it to another office to pick up some supplies. It genuinely worried me in city traffic, let alone getting it on the highway. Slow, loud, rough riding, crude, driver's seat that felt like a milk stool. four speed manual that felt like a stick in a bucket of rocks - it was awful.

why do people give the PT Cruiser such a hard time? i had a rental for a few days once, and had to drive to Dallas in it, i can tell you the ride was phenomenal! and had tons of room for the audio/video stuff i was picking up

In the 80's I had a surfer boyfriend who drove a periwinkle Gremlin with white racing stripe. Thank God he was so cute!!!🤣🤣🤣

I knew the Pontiac Aztec would be at the top of the list, followed in 2004 by the ugliest GTO ever built. I miss my 2001 Trans AM, most fun I ever had in a car.

The 63 Studebaker Lark wagon with the V8, 3 on the tree that burnt many a clutch and looked like an unreliable bathtub on wheels. That was Dad's. lol 😆😆😆

Had a 83 Cadillac Cimarron in high school in 2001. Loved that car. Never had a problem with it. Paid like $300 for it.

When I was a teenager, I loved the Gremlin. I never owned one and don't remembering driving one, but I thought they looked really cool. I'd probably add to the list any of GM's front-wheel drive cars when they first started making them. I owned a mid-80s (1986?) Oldsmobile 98.

The SSR wasn’t great, but it’s nowhere near as bad as the Aztec, the Yugoslav, the Pinto, etc.

Possibly the worst name for a car ever is the "King Midget" !!

I’ve never sat in a Smart, BUT as a driver I find it to be far too small to be on the road. Other drivers in larger vehicles may barely even notice this thing, possible running into or over it.
