Amazon Interview: 17 most important questions and how to answer them

The questions:

Tell me about yourself; why you? Why Amazon? Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Describe a difficult interaction you had with a customer. How did you deal with it?
Tell me about a time when you strongly disagreed with your manager or peer on something you considered very important to the business.
Give me an example of a calculated risk that you have taken where speed was critical.
Tell me about a time when you didn't have enough data to make the right decision.
Give me an example of a time when you were able to deliver an important project under a tight deadline.
Describe a time when you refused to compromise your standards?
Tell me about a time when you were trying to understand a complex problem on your team and you had to dig into the details to figure it out.
Tell me about a time when you helped one of your team members develop their career. How did you help that team member?
Give me an example of a complex problem you solved with a simple solution.
Tell me about a time when you had to communicate a change in direction that you anticipated people would have concerns with.
Tell me about a time when you took on something significant outside your area of responsibility.

Dan you do a fantastic job and your video was extremely helpful. If there is one suggestion I can make is to get that mic a little be closer as I was struggling often to understand stand what you were saying because it was a bit hard to hear even at full volume.

I am quitting midway, you have too many adds. It’s absolutely fine to have adds but not after each question. It’s preposterous.
