Hi Nicola,
I'm with Barclays and it has the ability to create 'jars' with their Barclays ping it app. That helps me with my cash stuffing electronically. I got a Barclay ping it debit card to access those funds too. You go onto the app and link it to the jar before using it for whatever you want.

Video is very good. I have a cash envelope system which is a system I bought of Amazon. It came with envelopes budgeting sheets calendar for the year and also expenses sheets for each envelope which I love. I guess the only downside on it is that the envelopes are not plastic they are like are strong cardboard/paper envelopes. I personally like to get out the full amount at the beginning of the month when I get paid to cover the whole of the month. I currently live on my own and I only have a dog to worry about so I don’t need as much money in my envelopes is say a family with kids. I have eight envelopes various categories and when I’m going food shopping I only take that envelope with me I’ll leave the rest of the envelopes at home so that way I’m not carrying as much money with me I guess the only downside is but there is money in the house. One thing I really hate is that the UK have so many coins which you have to deal with. Thanks again for your video.

I have an idea that £300 is the amount you can draw in one go. Using cash is more attractive now, as tomorrow, 18th October 2021, contactless transactions have gone up to £100. This means that losing your debit or credit card would be a disaster whereas when it started out at £20, it wouldn't have been so bad. Either way, it's good to have your bank phone number and your card number to hand in case the worse happens.
