Yoda: When I'm gone, the last of the Jedi will you be.

Luke: Actually Master, there's like 100 Jedi left.

Pretty crazy to think some Jedi, like A'Sharad Hett or K'Kruhk, not only survived Order 66, but even outlived the OT characters for decades. This shows that Palpatine's plans would never have fully succeeded.

Anakin Skywalker technically did survive Order 66.. From a certain point of view

Yet Ahsoka said that there were no more Jedi. Clearly, either she doesn't know how many survived, or she just can't lie straight to Vader

Over 100 Jedi still a pretty sizable number.

Crazy how Ahsoka is one of the last surviving Jedi who outlives Yoda and Obi wan and survives past ROTJ 🤯

Curiously, Legends had in its 90's post-ROTJ material many Jedi Masters who survived Order 66, like the adorable kushiban Ikrit, the cyborg Empatojayos Brand or the miraluka Jerec. Shame those characters barely got mentions in the prequel Era material

I wish we could see more of these jedi

Over 10, 000 Jedi Knights spread across the galaxy with a million more well on the way. EDIT: Thank you for liking this comment!

I remember seeing order 66 for the first time in theaters I was 9 years old the moment I saw the clone’s turn on the Jedi I was like noo really no not this

I seem to recall that the 10, 000 didn't include padawans either

How many Jedi? +1 every time plot convenience needs to happen

It's pretty hilarious how the EU writers took Obi-Wan's statement about the Jedi existing for a thousand generations as something 100% literal. I mean, I think the Jedi being created in the 25.000 BBY was simply too much 😅

Hundreds but by return of the Jedi . Only a few dozen

I’m willing to bet that number is actually a bit higher, since there were only 10, 000 jedi KNIGHTS, and all the other jedi roles like youngling and padawan are up to interpretation

At first it sounds crazy, but then you truly think about all the Jedi characters we've seen survive (plus the fact that apparently Aayla Secura and Shaak Ti aren't canonically dead anymore), the number sounds a lot less surprising.

I think it's interesting how most of them never actually followed the Jedi way after Order 66 besides maybe Obi-Wan and Yoda. Bode bled his crystal out, Cal (spoilers for Jedi Survivor) uses the dark side, Ezra and Kanan both grow many attachments to others so far as loving each other, and Ahsoka abandoned the Jedi order. It honestly did bring balance to the force because people learned how to tap into forbidden power without letting it consume them.

Known ones are
Obi wan, yoda, kanan/Caleb/, Cal kestis, ahsoka, grogu. But these are just the ones that didn't turn.
