I use the face shield at work for when i go outside to push carts, mostly in the winter because i would not recommend using them in hot weather because it traps heat.I learned the hard way and i overheated.

The shoe thing can work for older or disabled people who are unable to reach their feet. I was issued something similar to it by an OT for that purpose. I do not share it and keep it clean and dry between uses. The one I have does not have the pumice stone at the heel.
