Symmetry isn't a BAD thing! It's about knowing when to use it in your drawings.

We can make interesting drawings with some symmetrical elements, giving the drawing movement and life with the other parts of the composition.

When i draw i have the obsession to flip/take a photo flipped of the Canvas to correct symmetries, im noticing isnt a focal point!Now i like to make asymmetrical drawing with intention obv, but i Just seeing this short i Need to see entire lesson to get better the context lol

i find it more natural that the art that the people i draw arent really symmetrical since human faces (and bodies) arent 100% symmetrical anyways

So kinda like symmetry with Proko's big ole peanut shaped head (very attractive shape language btw) and then compliment that with your flowing hair. Very interesting!

This works, I think at the time I didn't know but my painting was sold very quickly. I didn't even intend on it being sold I just wanted to draw it, I worked at it and then i brought it to paint. This short chat that Stan presented reminded me of that. But yah you know, work at it lol. but draw, first, yah lol.
