Bass Teacher REACTION | Victor Wooten - 'The Lesson' | Solo Bass

➡️ Victor Wooten can truly play it all: masterful technique executed with face-melting precision, groove like no other, and melodic restraint that may bring you to tears if you aren't careful. As far as I'm concerned, this man is the most accomplished at his craft when it comes to the bass guitar. Every time I see Victor play, it feels just like the very first time I saw him play. In this video, I take a rather deep dive into his bass solo "The Lesson", filmed live at the EMG Pickups HQ (also known as EMGtv). In this video, I break down some of the magic that his two hands produce - everything from his signature double-thump technique, his clever voicing of bass chords and pedal tones, how he can play so fast (and make it look so effortless), and so much more. Hold on to your bottom jaws, folks!
