If only one lesson was enough to learn how to spin actually usable skeins. I've been spinning for almost a year now and I'm still terrible at it. Hopefully, it didn't take you as long as it has me. I wish these were much longer and showed more of each process, like a normal documentary. Still, they're pretty cool.

I'm impressed. This video makes it look like you learned to spin wool, hemp and cotton in one lesson. I'd be interested to see what your thread looks like. Took me several tries to get a workable skein of yarn.

This was awesome! I make a lot of cordage from plant and animal fibers so I understand basically how it works but this gave me a much better understanding. Definitely want to get some spinning projects going this winter.

I've known about spinning thread for years, but that animation at the beginning makes it so much easier to understand.

thats soo nice to see, I learned how to spin sheep wool in 2015 from a very wise English lady in France. And it's fun to see that everybody starts that way. There is 2 things you need to remember.
1st: it takes 4 hours to learn how to spin, the rest is practice.
and 2nd Wool is very forgiving :D

They should merge this type of spinning with the ones at health clubs - think about the productivity!
