Led Zeppelin formed in 1968 and went on to become one of the most influential, innovative, and successful groups in modern music, having sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. The band rose from the ashes of The Yardbirds, when Jimmy Page brought in John Bonham, John Paul Jones, and Robert Plant to tour as The New Yardbirds. In 1969, Led Zeppelin released its self-titled debut which was produced by Page, as were all the subsequent albums. It marked the beginning of a 12-year reign, during which the group was widely considered to be the biggest and most innovative rock band in the world.

I was 27 years old when I first heard Dazed & Confused and I was hooked and I'm pushing for 80 years old and to me there's none better. Who can forget Gallows Pole, Kashmir, When The Levee Breaks and so much more. Well done Gentlemen, well done.

When I was 16 Uncle Terry told me that he could picture me at 80 sitting in a rocking chair listening to Led Zeppelin. I am 69 now and listen to them while kayaking !

I've been listening to Zep since around 71 or 72...They have never failed to get me singing, drumming or moving in some way...Timeless icons that sound as good today as they did back then...RIP Bonham

I am a 64 year old grandmother, got my motor cycle license at the age of 52 and I am now in remission with my 3rd kind of cancer (Breast cancer) and am a true classic rocker!! A few months after having a partial nephrectomy in 2017 (Kidney cancer) I decided to get the my forearms tattoed with my favorite classic rockers. First was my Bowie (Aladdin Sane) then came my John Lennon (photo from Sergeant Pepper time)which was done just before my double mastectomy, a year later I had reconstructive surgery but prior to that I had Pink Floyd (The WALL-the flowers/wall and even a little Pink) and then just this past May my forearms were completed with Led Zeppelin (Icarus and the bands Runes) I wish I could put the pictures on here but I can't! I am waiting for an appointment for my artist to finish my sleeves and then continue across my chest to cover my mastectomy scars!!! ROCK ON!!!

Been listening to these songs since 1970's....when I was a student nurse and could not afford a sandwich LP no! Aside from that Led Zeppelin for me is the very very best band ever. OK so I'm in 70's but Zep rock will be played at my goodbye. Lv Led Zeppelin.

I was 13 years old the first time I heard Led Zeppelin. Seen them here in Louisiana in the 70's .
I'm 62 now, & I still can't get enough! Who knows what I'm saying?

I believe that somewhere in the world, there are people who feel the same emotions that I feel when I listen to masterpieces like this song.
