New European Commission AI regulation to change the course of AI use in future society

This week, draft regulations on the acceptable use of artificial intelligence (A.I.) systems was issued by the European Commission. It takes a holistic risk based approach to the issue of what is currently societally acceptable. These standards have marked differences to the current views of A.I powerhouses, the USA and China. I give a brief overview of what was issued.
