Which Halo Wars 2 DLC Leaders Should You Buy?

There's a lot of leaders to buy in Halo Wars 2. Which ones should you spend your hard earned money on?

I play as Yapyap just to listen to the Grunt dialogue. “This shield tower is almost big enough to cover the posterior of your mom. Oh snap!”

My favorite with me is Colony, Jerome and Serina. They just bring the experience of the game to life and make you want to just keep playing

Every time I watch a Team Respawn video it makes me want to play Halo Wars 2, then I just get deci banshee rushed while my teammate do nothing but yield to the attack.

Johnson is my current favorite. His mac is insanely powerful, the bunkers are super fun and everyone expects you to go to mech so if you don't you often surprise the other team and get an advantage

Dependent on what teammates you get, it won't matter what leader you have if your teammates don't know how to play.

I’ve been playing custom hw2 custom games all day and I had a blast

When I do eventually play as Jerome I usually do a Spartan bus 6 nightingales and the rest mastodons with combat tech Marines. It’s not the most effective strat it works

Rush with the ice cream truck and cryo troops is op with Serina, love doing it

I usually main Jerome because I love using the Mastodon + Marine play which always works well

Kinsano is great if I wonna do burn the world matches

Arbiter is fun as well, I like using his support Phantoms much like Jerome's Mastodons

But I'm normally playing online against AI with randoms so I don't really need to choose the meta leaders

You should buy colony. Army of skitters. Also Pavium is broken in passive play 3v3. If you have one person with level 2 Designator and 3 people with level 3 rain of fire you can pretty much destroy a whole built up base. Destroy someones army then destroy their base with ur powers. OP.

They need to make a unsc leader with an aircraft hero unit... they have vehicles and infantry just no aircraft leaders..

Arbiter is really good for using teleport assault strategies

I personally think that johnson bunkers are good if the enemy team doesn't go out of their way to destroy them because with remote sensors they can give you some insane line of sight.

Also serina late game is insane. Leader powers are unreal and come back so fast. Ultimate turtle character.

November 2023, Yap-Yap & Pavium is still the dlc to be reckoned with lol

i just downloaded HW2 on xbox via game pass and it came with the season pass and all the leaders except the 2 from the ATN DLC obviously. pretty good for free. games great! like a super simplified SC2

My favorite 4 leaders for each side in no particular order...

UNSC: Commander Jerome, Sgt. Johnson, Sgt. Forge, Captain Cutter.

Covenant: Colony, Yapyap the destroyer, Pavium, Voridus.
