Installing Cheat Engine with Lazarus for Windows (No Installer)

I use the Lazarus IDE to build Cheat Engine 7.3 from its source files provided on GitHub; the build is intended for a 64-bit Windows operating system; the process for 7.3 is the same for older and newer versions that provide the source code ZIP on GitHub. Other operating systems are available, but this video will not review those alternatives. Do not misuse Cheat Engine.

I don't provide many updates or troubleshooting anymore. This will either work for you or not in future iterations of CE. Trashy little imp comments get deleted btw, but some people love wasting their time since it's easier than actually doing something useful.

The process shown for building the CE 7.3 source code is the same for building CE 7.4 and older versions whose source code ZIP is provided on Cheat Engine's GitHub profile. If the current build (version number) for Lazarus is not working for you, then uninstall the current version and install Lazarus 2.0.10 (shown at 1:11 and linked in the description) for greater compatibility.

When i hit "run" and select "build" i get a broken dependency error. It says "the project requires the package laz.virtualtreeview_package" but it was not found. How do i fix this please

What would i have to do if it wasn't successful with the build since the warning messages said that "_" does not seemed the be initialized

When I try to build the source code in Lazarus I get an error that says:

frmAAEditPrefsUnit.pas(50.16) Error: Identifier not found "TSynEditorOptions"

I have no idea what to do & am completely stuck.
Can someone help me?

Upon compiling, I got lazarus debugger error 740. It seemed fine, but when I hit RUN, "cheat engine 7.5 lazarus error external illegal instruction line 1028" popped up. Should I worry anything about this or did I maybe corrupt something in the compiling process?
