The Russian Rouble is COLLAPSING! Why now?

New economic sanctions have been placed on Russia by The United States, the G7, and the EU that has halted all trading in dollars and euros on the Moscow Stock Exchange Market. The Russian Rouble is highly volatile right now as banks and corporations around the world are trying to weigh the risk of continuing to do business with Russia under the threat of new secondary sanctions to companies and individuals who work with Russia's military industrial complex.

This morning I saw the news about how Russia's banking system is freaking out over these new sanctions, and Moscow replied by ending trade in dollars. That was a severe shock to Russian finances, making this one of the worst days for the Russian stock exchange. It was an absolute cliff. I haven't checked to see if there has been any recovery, but it just goes to show that Russia's ship is continuing to sink. Edit: just checked, seems the the Moscow exchange's website is still down. Not a great sign!

I am very glad to realize that there are ways to deal with states that get into EU and then go rogue and start to work against EU.
