The steam punk guys would be interested in things like these.

Lost your mind? Not at all! You have some wonderful creative thoughts! It's fun having that sort of brain that never sees something just as it is, but for all the other things it could be. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Oh my, a sculptor's dream!! I cleared out my Dad's house - a few generations of "treasures" in it. A lot of work but I found a lot of really precious pieces, some of which I made into art. Love watching your progress on this building.

The vertebrae are beam clamps to hang pipe. Threaded, so very useful to you my friend.

Hi if you are going to keep antiques and high value items, I would brick in all the downstairs windows and after getting the lift going of put the high end stuff right at the top for safety, give it a thought, love the show 😀👍🇫🇷

I have to say you're totally nuts but that's where creativity comes from. I see so many things you can make. Can't wait to see what you create. By the way you're still young. LOL

I think those brackets with the springs on em ..are for big swinging doors...to keep them closed/inline with one another..

Open a retail store and start selling. Love it

The little cast c clamps are beam clamps. The threaded hole takes a drop rod or threaded rod to suspend pipes etc. Or standoff from a beam.

You're very creative. I can see just about everything you suggest.

In my opinion, one word describes that place, AWESOME! I could easily spend weeks there helping with the cleaning sorting process. The industrial salvage there is a dream come true for someone like me. I can't wait to see some of the finished products.

You have such a vivid imagination and I see all it it but when are you ever going to do it or make it? The factory alone is a project for at least 10 years! And then your long trips abroud and the shipping and selling of that and making the vlogs? My heads spins in your place!

Just found your channel a few days ago, so slowly catching up!!!!
A thought on the toilets, if they can’t be sold, throw them into the “engineering pit” to the old water tower, then build the planters on top.

My suggestions: at 4:42 rather than throwing your keys in it or whatever, use it by the entrance or in your office to hold a potted plant, the type that overflows its container. The plant would take up no floor space and add something living to an otherwise sterile environment.

At 8:16, what is that cast iron piece standing behind the lights you're talking about in the video? I have a very cool and unique idea for that but unfortunately you never showed the complete item. If I see it complete in another video I'll let you know my ideas with that.

At 9:02 just mount the light bulbs inside. Use a Edison style light bulb and no other shade needed.

At 10:30 or so, what you call turbines are actually called squirrel cages. Yes, they would make an interesting lamp shade. But you could do so much more with them. For example, as a lamp shade also have it connected inside with a small direct drive motor. And have that motor connected to a variable speed controller. That way not only can the user have it spin or not spin, or spin very slowly or spin faster to be a source of cooling breeze as it sits on the office desk. And have the light inside the squirrel cage connected to a dimmer switch so it can be independently controlled by the office desk user. Very simple to do by anyone with a very basic knowledge of industrial electrical wiring. You've got the most expensive parts, the squirrel cages and bases, such as those insulators that also appeared to have a tab for mounting the controllers/switches. If you want I could source the parts needed to do this and assemble a prototype for you. But you'll need to contact me. I don't know if you ever read these comments.

And at 22:30 that could also be a light but inside that flat surface space put a strip of super bright led lights then mount it to the wall. With the flat surface pointing up, it could light the room and ceiling. And hang a sign. Or with the flat surface pointed down it could brightly light a desk or work table.

I have lots of other ideas too, but just too much to type.
Keep us posted with your videos and good luck with your project.

I think the TOP HALF of that big tank.. hanging off the side of the building, would make a cool little tool shed...just add a door to the side.
