I live in the city and damn, this is depressing. I haven't heard about this before, but I don't really follow local news so that isn't surprising. Always a shame to know that things like this are happening in your own backyard, but it's also important to remember that there are far more good (or at least indifferent) people in the area that won't hurt others like this.
