Relax guys, your kid won’t be the next Elon Musk if you are paying 4.5lacs as fees to school. The best they could do is get an average job in an expensive city where they will pay half salary as taxes and other half in living expenses. When it comes to school fees, there is law of diminishing marginal returns. Every thing to be learnt is on YouTube, kids eventually find their way.

I don't expect my kids to be topper but just understand the concepts, have social skills and respect the people around you. Anybody can be trained but we have to imbibe the discipline, dedication and manners in them. I want them to feel the joy of going to school. I am from ICSE and know the pressure. I don't want my kids to go through the same. The kids should interact with all the other kids(upper class, middle class and poor). This is when they will understand how the parents are struggling in day-to-day life to provide for them. Cheers!

Mehenge school me acche bacche nahi aate, ameer bacche aate hai. In a regular school, you might worry whether your kid is smoking cigarettes, in an expensive school you have to worry about cocaine.

Currently I am a teacher with world’s largest school chain and having about 20 years experience in teaching in various level. “I will provide best education to my child” is the biggest myth followed by Indian middle class. There is nothing called best education or best school.

I'm a teacher, being experienced in Icsc, Cbse, even state board .The parents can send to any simple school only to bring in socialising factor of growth. And chk only that part .The rest you spend time and prepare and motivate to make them up.Pls avoid tuitions in evening, that's punishment to the child .The society becomes empowered if parents are the best teachers for their child.Instead spend money for cocurricular classes in the evening where you will also upgrade with them becoming a student again, parenting is nothing but becoming life long learner and hence nurture the future citizens .Then there is no arrogance or crime in society .Thank you, wishing all the very best for the parents 😊

And they pay teacher's peanuts. 16 k to 35k per month. Not only that, most of these school keep the teacher's original education certificate and if a teacher wants them back for some purpose, they have to deposit one month salary aa security amount. How a teacher who is unsatisfied with the job can teach the children well ? These school managements are fooling the parents into thinking that as they are paying the hugh amount for exceptional quality education of their children. Parents should actually enquire the teachers salary before enrolling their children.

Out of all the residents in Bengaluru they cherry picked, affluent families for this interview, these people don't represent the people on the ground, most of them are struggling.

I went to a govt school in Mumbai and I work in the United States of America. My education was close to free until HSC and then I paid about 3-4k per year in fees for my degree.

My cousin studied in an expensive school in Gurgaon, his parents wanted him to hang out with elite kids..the kid than refused to do his graduation in India as his friends are all studying abroad and his parents had to end selling a lot of their property to be able to fund his education

The Indian education system is as old as the Nokia 6600 in the times of the M4 chip. For me, children just need to learn writing, speaking, reading, and all the basic survival skills like cooking, cleaning, traveling, etc. Once that's done, let them be aware of all the professions that exist in the world, such as photography, video editing, coding, music, dancing, designing, and business. Let teachers observe what they are good at without forcing the pressure of exams. Because with exams, anyone who is good at memorizing can score 100/100, but they will forget it after a month. Schooling should make children happier and encourage them to love coming every day. With this type of school, children will never bunk.

By 2044, there will be fewer jobs due to AI, automation, and overpopulation. The only way your children can survive is by having a business edge. So, instead of investing all your money in traditional education systems, invest in teaching them about business, and focus on building generational wealth that can be passed on to them.

Thanks!

I studied in govt school with less than 5 k . My age is 36 and withdrawing 1. 50 lakh per month. It's not about the school, it's how you gel with everyone and in the long run life skills also matters a lot rather than bookish knowledge

The future is grim.
Not just for jobs. But due to wars, water, pollution and general health issue.
Babies born with microplastics in body..
Is this a good future world?

No use bringing a child into this world. Live and die in peace.❤

Really appreciate the courage to come up and share and be exposed to criticism. Thanks to all the parents and students.

Most of the new age hospitals and schools are funded and backed by politicians and ex-civil servants. Rest is understandable. "High quality" education justifies the high fees. And High fees means better ROIs for the black money invested.
