It offers a minimalist set up with solid build, fully weight keys, full sized keys, input for the three piano pedals commonly used, offers half pedal, and excellent velocity and dynamic controls with any VST Library you are using. I grew up with an acoustic piano but since moving to the city (6 years ago) we had to sell the piano and I have been stuck with a very cheap plastic midi keyboard since, so I have lately been looking for a MIDI keyboard that will allow me to play and express more delicate classical pieces in a close way to a real acoustic piano, and hearing you play chopin really showed me that this keyboard makes it possible! It's very affordable too so I think that I will most likely buy it.
My other option was to get the Kawai VPC-1 but it 3 times the cost and extremely heavy, and it looks like this can do the job!

Btw I actually prefer this minimalist look over keyboards with lots of faders, effects, screens, etc. This looks a lot more pure, delicate and pianistic (if that makes sense) haha. Thanks for the video!

Between this and the oxygen im just gonna say screw it and get this sweet beast.
Those fully weighted keys for soft expression really are essential.
If i feel like i really need a controller with knobs and buttons to control automation etc ill just pick up an akai mpk mini for those purposes.

Just bought this midi keyboard yesterday. So excited. Not a good piano player but I'm going to use it for orchestra and guitar. I'm tired of using my macbook pro keyboard on Garageband or clicking on the notes individually with my mouse.
You play beautiful, I love how you can put expression onto each note you hit. Let alone the simplicity of the keyboard, I don't really care for a whole bunch of dials like with the Komplete Kontrol 88. That thing's a beast but a little too much for what I need at the moment. My dream midi keyboard would be the one Hans Zimmer uses, forgot the name.

When you made this video you state you had only had this keyboard 5-6 months. I wouldn't class that as a long term review as stated in your title. Looking at the date, it seems you posted this video a year ago. So I would be interested now, what are your thoughts on this keyboard? Does it still function as it should? Any problems with keys etc?

I paid for this and I’m waiting for it to arrive and literally can’t wait! So from what I understand is that the dynamics (pianissimo-pianissisimo) vary according to which piano library you’re using. I was just wondering how quiet does it get and if there’s a setting in Kontakt to increase the dynamic range or velocities
