Ok to be honest you greatly underestimate the true power of canon nightmare.. To begin UV nightmare is weaker than the canon version since the half of the multiverse has been deleted so that means less negativity feelings for nightmare, but in the canon dreamtale that never happend so NM can use his full potential in there so let's start...

Strength: nightmare- joku stated that nightmare can increase his body as long as he wants without limits, using that logic we could say that nightmare just have to increase the size of his fist to have more strength than he usually has, meanwhile UV error hasn't showed a real feat about strength, he usually fight with his strings instead..

Speed: nightmare- tbh they actually have teleportation so his speed are almost the same, but ill would say that nightmare have more advantage on this since he can turn on liquid to become more slippery and go faster, meanwhile error can only use teleportation

Durability: both- we could say that in this they have a really good durability since UV error its almost immortal and canon nightmare has a immense defense against magic and physical attacks.

IQ: nightmare- 500 years old no need to explain more

Yes its a tie since both doesn't have any way to hurt eachother, error in his part cant use his strings against nightmare since he doesn't have a soul, and yes joku stated that he doesn't have a soul on his twitter, also canon nightmare is codeless aswell so error have a big disadvantage against nightmare, but nightmare doesn't have a good way to actually hurt error since error is made of glitches and the only way to actually hurt him is if u have something against codeless characters, thing that nightmare doesn't have... But talking about capabilities and qualities canon nightmare goes for the victory since he surpasses UV error in many things

Nightmare can’t let Error destroy every AU bc he needs this feelings and emotions to make him stronger. Meanwhile Error needs to destroy every AU except the main universe bc it’s his “purpose”
