Trans-Siberian Train: First Class Wagon Tour

This is a tour of a First Class Cabin of the Trans-Siberian Train, from Moscow to Beijing. We stayed here for 5 nights!

This video shows the Chinese Train. After Stopping in Mongolia, we took the Russian Train for the rest of our Trip. On a personal note, we preferred the Chinese train since it was more old, and made us feel like we were on a real adventure. The Russian train was much more clean, but less of a fascinating adventure. You may look at both options and choose the one that fits the best your trip goals. :)

This is a trip that was for a long time on our Bucket List. It was more on Francis Bucket list, but it is allways more fun to share adventures right? So we went together. The Trans- Siberian Train is only the start to a long Trip through Asia!

Wow, I'm a Chinese and I have travelled by train quite a lot, but I've never seen a train with shower! ( Probably it's only for the Trans-Siberian Train) I see it's from Beijing to Ulaanbaatar. Really amazing!

Wow what year was this? I've ridden the TSR a few times in the last few years and the cars are completely updated and modern. Your car looks more like from the 80s and 90s. They even gave us free boxed breakfasts.

I did travel there just from Moscow via Nizhniy Novgorod, Volgograd to Astrakhan on the Caspic see in June 2017. I used both the lowest class car the "plackard" and a coupe and can not say anything against the trains. Absolutely normal people you can meet anywhere in world, no drunkards, no drugs. Everything was cleaned and only problem was a low train speed. Except Moscow to Nizhniy Novgord where the journey was very fast. If Russia offers better time in advance visa policy I would travel to Vladivostok without any fear.

Just, that you know
All classes has toilet like this
Also you can open windows(but you got the cabin with emergency exit-there is always 2 cabins where you can't open the window)
No electricity-it's common. More chances not to have it, than get cabin where it works;)
The upper shelves are not for food-but for towels and private stuffs:)
Also better not to walk in socks or barefoot-we take some shoes for walking(yes, they are cleaning, buuuut)
And you didn't tell, that you can buy tea/coffee /soups and so on from Bord Stuart also:)

Strange train choice, old train of Chinese railway company to do the Trans-Siberian, Russian trains would be a better choice for sure. Still, great vlog and your are so nice guys.

The south African long distance trains are much more comfortable and cleaner. Y'all should check out the Shosholoza train. You also get treated to the most beautiful views.
