🙅🏻‍♀️🙅🏾‍♂️Should the LGB be SEPARATED by the TQIA+? Featuring nonbinary rant | Jack Jewell REACTION to Liberal VS Conservative Gays | Jubilee Middle Ground. Some people are arguing that the TQ should be separate from LGB. I talk about the regular 'T' (male-to-female or female-to-male transexual) and how I think it should be here to stay. HOWEVER - nonbinary, genderqueer, agender, genderfluid? No THANKS!.

I think we have two separate issues at hand here. We have the concept of LGBT as a identity and LGBT as a political alliance.

I reject the concept of LGBT as a identity, I reject the idea of being gay as a identity as well. Being gay is just a subset of who one is, it’s not an identity. Suggesting that being ‘LGBT’ or even being gay is an identity is to suggest that there is a culture to it which I disagree with. Yeah gay people may enjoy certain things more than their heterosexual counterparts but that doesn’t mean that there is a gay culture because it’s not like straight people couldn’t like that stuff either.

As a political alliance, I support the idea of the LGB separating from the T since the broad needs and wants of LGB individuals is different than that of T individuals which isn’t a bad thing

I do agree that one is an identity and one is an sexuality so yea if people are alright with that I don’t see why not

I think the whole thing is ridiculous. There is no “community”. When they use the verbage they most often imply that this “community” has one set of beliefs & opinions on a myriad of issues, and to stray from that is to stray from the community and is bigoted. It’s ridiculous. Love the video ❤

I give you a "hypothetical" case: A person suffers from gender dysphoria since they were 4 years old (they cry when their mother make them wear dresses and, in kindergarten, they ask to be assigned activities that are for boys, not for girls, etc.); In adolescence, they suffer from anorexia nervosa because they want to "correct" their body because their breasts are growing and their thighs are thickening; they find it very stressful to wear women's clothing, to the point of crying over wearing a simple garment. At the beginning of their adult life, people often believe that this individual is a man. But this guy does not take hormones nor has he had gender-affirming surgeries, and they also openly admit that "they are a woman." So, this person considers themselves "non-binary." Do you think this person is part of a cult? Or you just disagree with the words they choose to describe themselves?
