LGBTQ: I want A DIVORCE - GAYS turning on TRANS

LGBTQIA: I want a divorce. Many lesbians, gays and bisexuals are no longer considering themselves to be a part of the LGBTQIA community and are starting to voice opposition to the movement entirely. The reason? They feel that the LGBs have one agenda that completely contradicts the agenda of the TQIA community.

This week, I examine some of the reasons for this major fallout and I also give my perspective on why so many people inside and outside of the community are frustrated with the group.

I invite respectful, CIVIL discourse in the comments section. Profanity, misgendering and bullying will not be tolerated in any form. So, keep it clean and let's talk like mature adults.

As a Bisexual Women I feel it is time we took back our group and just call it the L.G.B community.

"Gays against Grooming" being banned should of been a huge wake up call for people.

I’ve been a lesbian for 20 years and never have expected or demanded anyone to change for the choices I’ve made. Also am very confused by all the alphabets, pronouns, permanent changes & activism. All I ever desired was respect and equality.

In my 20s I went through a lot of prejudice for being lesbian by non LGBT. Now in my 30s I'm being harassed by my own community just cause I still like women. It's odd

Calling people transphobic is their go-to insult when they don't really have an argument.

When I was 8 I wanted to be a pirate. I’m glad nobody cut off my leg and poked my eye out.

I'm gay gen x. I find it very disturbing that gay people have fought so hard for gay rights for so long. These people are just completely oblivious and pushing what weve fought so hard for, so far backwards it's absolutely disgusting.

Agreed from the very beginning. As a gay man myself, whenever asked about the LGBQT community I just say I’m not a part of it. I’m a part of the gay demographic yes. But the community, nah I’m just gay. Don’t need to do anything to prove that. I know who I am and that’s black man who just so happens to be gay💯

"you dont bring kids to a drag show to teach them to be tolerant of ppl the same way you dont bring kids to a strip club to teach them to respect women" - (i think it was Blair White im quoting)

As a grandfather, I have this to say: LEAVE THE KIDS ALONE!

My wife and I are lesbian (born as women and still 100% women) and do NOT go to the pride festival and are NOT apart of the pride community due to all these new Trans stuff coming out. We not associate ourselves with this whole thing going on and I’m glad many people are speaking out within the LGBTQ plus community

A Bisexual here, and for the record this is something I don't tell people cause I keep my preferences private unless they're relevant. (Flirts, potential partners, getting asked, etc.)
I personally feel the reason LGB wants to separate is because we accepted a different sexuality, not a different gender identity.
I speak for myself but am fairly sure each member of the LGB recognizes biological sex like any straight person would.
Furthermore, most of us would never let/want children be a part of the conversation, your preference is something you explore once you reach adulthood.

I’m a gay dude and I’d just like to say that it is incredibly difficult to even find other gays who are not onboard with the current social shift re: child transitioning, overly sexualized pride parades, child drag shows, etc.. it’s so stigmatized within the community to speak out. It’s quite ironic because a lot of us spend a good chunk of our lives in “the closet” while in the straight world, eventually come out, and then go right back into another closet in the lgbt world.

I'm 58 & lesbian, I left the alphabet mafia years ago because I seen where it was going & I wanted NO part of it. MY belief has always been/is, Children are Off Limits !!!

I agree with you. My biggest issue as an American is that ANYTHING that doesn't go along with the current agenda is considered "hate speech". There is no more "free speech". You can't even say, "I disagree with what you're saying." to an individual who is trans without it being called hate speech. I don't agree with bigots or people who are discriminatory but honestly, in America, they are supposed to be allowed to say stupid things as long as they aren't threatening someone.

This is a conversation that needs to happen. As a gay man i have never thought of myself in the trans community. I have nothing in common with them. Thank you for having a respectable discussion

I'm a straight male who is in no way homophobic or transphobic and you fking nailed it. Sick of these people acting like bullies to others who don't agree with them

I'm an 80's kid, so i witnessed how hard the Gays & Lesbians worked over the last 40 years to achieve everything they have. Coming out of the closet back then was hard, they made it normal and acceptable nowdays. I have the upmost respect for the Gays & Lesbians. But watching the trans literally destroy all this hard work within a year is demoralising.

At the beginning of the 80's, a lovely lesbian couple bought a house in my little village with 500 citizens in a rural part of Germany. And no one cared or talked shit about them. They we're very active in our Community for years and they we're both great teachers. Now they rest together, still in this little village and they're honoured ❤❤❤

I'm a straight father with a gay daughter so I have some (I said some!) Idea of the pain she has had to go through over the last 10yrs to get to this point where she feels totally comfortable and accepted around her family, friends and colleagues. I do wish that the LGB (and other sexual orientations!) would split from the gender identity groups because the minority (but very loud) extremists in the trans group are damaging all the progress that has been made, in the last decade or more, for LGB rights, freedoms and more importantly, in my opinion, compete acceptance (apart from a minority of idiots, but there are always idiots everywhere)
