It's quite cold this winter and my compost worms are doing it tough!
I have been a bit slow to get this system running better for winter, but hey we all make mistakes.
I think I just may be able to save them though!

They wont work the top layers while its cold ...but just keep feeding and they will stay warm deep in the middle . im guessing like you said its gonna be hard to harvest finished compost right now ...

Hey Marty, El Dorado looks amazing. I'm thinking you could trap the heat from the sun by using a black cover like your green one. That along with the nitrogen should help maintain a nice temp. What's the current temp there?
