Let me know if you’d like a similar video but with a slap bass line this time! 😜

I think this continuous playback comparison method is the best and most effective. Most people doing reviews on Youtube try to make sound comparison by playing different songs/parts on each guitar which kills the purpose. Even the guitar companies themselves can't make proper comparison videos. Thanks for the video dude!

My fav was the 1978 Fender, sounds like it has been played and enjoyed a lot!
The Cibus had a real well balanced tone, loved it
The Musicman sabre 1988 sounded delicious with a piercing mid range
And finally, gotta love that retro sound from the Musicmaster!
Cool vid man!

Amazing video!!hi david, im from brazil! I decided to start playing bass in 2009 when I was 14 years old today I'm 22 years old and it was when I saw your video called "jam in E" and I started to get interested in bass, I already liked rhcp and flea so that because of their covers I realized the importance of the bass in the music, I thank you for always making videos from below it inspires me enough to learn more the instrument, always continue like this, I have flea and you as my first references and continue being, thak you so much!
Sorry for my english

I came thinking it was going to be 11 basses at the SAME time like Spinal Tap's Big Bottom but I still wasn't disappointed. Great vid.

Not a fan of musicman in general, but here the colorful musicman wins for me. What a deepness and growl!

the 70s Jazz and the Jay Zy sounded the best to me with both pickups on, though all Jazz Basses sounded so good with that bassline. All of them sounded good in the bridge pickup

I'd love to be able to crank out an endless funky bassline like that.

Hey man I’ve been playing bass for about a year now because of your videos! Picked up a bass as it looked like a lot of fun and man it is a beautiful instrument- I came from years of playing guitar. Thanks for the inspiration!

Cool groove! Just discovered you following the RATM covers. I like this way of the differences of these basses and just to hear all the great tones. Thanks for not muddying the water with effects.

Nice groove for sure, my favorite bass is the Duvoisin, just love the overall tone of each of the pickups settings..

They all sound great because of your talent. You could make a cardboard box bass sing. But I want a JB62 reissue...it’s got the tone I love! Thank you!
