I feel like the “filler” movies, Solo and Rogue One, were leagues better than the entire trilogy combined. I mean, Rogue One was a beautiful story about a team of people laying down their lives for a hope of overthrowing a tyrannical government, it’s a heartwrenching film that actually felt consequential, unlike the entire trilogy, where... uh characters do things and save the universe again I guess.
