My wife is Ukrainian and she speaks Ukrainian when she calls her parents. When we were first living together I would constantly tell her to stop yelling at her parents and she would look at me like I’m crazy, they were discussing a recipe or something and it sounded like they were ready to kill each other. It’s a very passionate and emotional language.

The one thing that shock me the most is that Russian actually has cute forms of words, like a lot of nouns and names have cute ways to speak it. And this is just from Duolingo 😂
