What makes it 10x funnier is that the episode doesn’t include captions for this section, you would have to go out of your way to turn them on. The scene was made to work without spoken English and still came across as funny while having an accurate sign conversation

cause of the title i thought it was going to be fake signing but no- bill's just an awful person and honestly, i love that as representation in the media. both disabled and abled ppl, gay and straight ppl, nuerotypical and nuerodivergent- anyone can be awful, and honestly portraying awful people as minorities without the thing that makes them a minority taking center stage as why they're awful, is helpful for bridging the gap. no one is inherently evil for being part of a minority, but no one is inherently good for being part of a minority either. we're all just people and picking someone at random is like picking a random skittle out of a skittle bag. some are good, some are purple.

edit: half of my replies are genuine questions/observations, a couple is about how the point of family guy is to make jokes, not to be dissected by someone with way too much free time, and then there are 3 skittle heathens tryna gaslight me into thinking purple skittles taste good-

Ngl its good representation in a way. Not all deaf people are good people (as with every group), and the portrayal of them always being super nice, smart, lowkey try hards isnt accurate. Thats how sterotypes are made (ex all Chinese kids are great at math coming from similar portrayals making those who arent feel worse)
As long as they dont only represent deaf people as nazis, I dont see a problem with occasional negative portrayals.
