The International Space Station could soon operate without a crew for the first time in nearly two decades. It comes after Thursday's dramatic Soyuz launch failure over Kazakhstan. The capsule hurtled back to earth from 31 miles up and made an emergency landing. The two crew members are okay. Mark Strassmann reports.

_"They also have a Soyuz capsule docked to the station to bring them back to Earth in December. And Bianna, that has to be a relief if you're up there."_

They're maybe not so relieved knowing that their only way back is on a Soyuz that has an epoxy sealed hole on the side, granted it's on the orbital module and not the decent module but still xD

Put SpaceX in the title, but then don't mention them in the video. Click bait...

I wonder what’s a better story, saying you’ve been to space, or saying your rocket blew up on the way to space

i dont think that one fail launch should completly halt the program. figure out what happened fix it or lets get a more modern taxi rocket.

I'm so glad to see they are still alive and well. I couldn't imagine! I have had a scar for life after I watched the CHALLENGER go down many years ago thinking and feeling some of what they must have felt let alone all of their loved ones. Let's get it together... get it right PLEASE! ✌💕

Wondering about those aboard the space station now. Wondering why this has happened. What would happen to those aboard the space station if a Global Catastrophe happens today?

Very odd title for the subject case and point of the news broadcast. Think it was a set up just to say they did it first? Either way glad they made it safe and look forward to seeing the freindly competition continue.

Wait, but that one docked to the ISS got hole on it. They can't ride it back to earth. They are better off riding the dragon cargo spacecraft back to earth.

so much for our uber ride to space, time to put all our efforts in getting one of our ships flying. NASA needs to step up it's game, we got people stranded up there.
