I tried the no snapping thing at Chili's in the USA and it worked really great-- that might have been the whole reason they treated me so bad. Got my first second date of my life, too!

I found that sometimes you have to go up to the cash register to pay for your meal. As far as I know it’s never rude to do that.

Since it’s hands-off, is it customary to order your drinks and entire meal once the server arrives to take your order? Or do they take your drink order first, then come back for enter, then dessert? I know a lot of people say you can always opt to tip between 1 and 5 euro extra if you find service to be exceptional, but what about for large parties?

Awesome. Another tip, do not go to the restaurant across and to the right across le deux maggots. Looks very authentic, must be the worst food in Paris. The service is not bad, but the food 😢😢😢.
