I could very much say a similar answer to yesterday's video. Of course, it should be as often as needed, and the Scrum Master helps the team understand the Scrum framework - what it is, what are the core values of it, coach the team in those values, then be aware of best practices and approached to development support activities, facilitation of meetings and so on.

I really like this episode. It is totally how I envision the scrum master role and what I hope to achieve. But I do have a question for you two and any other Scrum master that is willing to help :).

I am a new-ish young scrum master, and the team also mainly consists of young developers. So they are pretty timid and seem in need of someone showing them what to do and how to do it. And in cases of meetings, and processes and conflict they usually turn to me to ask what to do.

For example: The team discusses a problem in the daily scrum, but they just flag it and that is it. I feel the need to say, should we discuss who will focus on this issue to ensure this is resolved?
Or: A ticket is rejected and no one is showing signs of picking it up, or they just pick it up without communicating. I then feel the need to inform the team of the issue and ensure they communicate about it.

How would you handle a situation like that as a scrum master? How can you help a young team become mature? Because right now I feel pressured to be a leader instead of a servant leader.
