Great question, indeed, a Scrum Master and Product Owner is a partnership that needs to work together continuously.
Thanks RR+TM 🌟

Hi Todd & Ryan, could you please make a video about how ITIL fit in the Scrum framework?

Effective and often :D The Scrum Master facilitates the meetings in support to the Product Owner, while also helps him out in coming up with best practices for planning, refining, slicing, adding value and details, getting feedback, coaching on how to report products progress etc.

I think one organization devolved into Zombie Scrum. What was never figured out was how to have all the Scrum accountabilities operate in a flattened hierarchy. It was like the Developers were the most junior, the Scrum Master was a senior Developer, and the PO was the most senior team member. In effect the Scrum accountabilities were laid on top of an existing hierarchy vs doing the real work to be inclusive and put everyone on even footing. It’s a bit different where I am now, but that hierarchy still hasn’t been flattened yet. Definitely, an opportunity to experiment with.

Zombie Scrum? wow I think I've seen that before in a Scrum Team, I see one of the cause now.
Thank you for the clarification, I think this need to collaborate applied to Scrum Team & Stakeholders in general, and I also see that a good Scrum Master could indeed facilitate a healthy collaboration.
Good content!

I like the tool your using for the presentation. I can see myself using it for retrospectives. Can you let me know what it is? Thanks

Hi, I have just completed some Agile and SM courses and got confused by the different replies I have gotten from my lecturers. During Agile lesson, my lecturer said PO and SM can be one person, but during SM lesson, the lecturer said it must be separated as they are performing a different role and will cause a conflict but then again, when I did the open assessment, there was a question on this and the answer was they can be the same person as Scrum Guide doesnt define the role to be handled by separate persons. Appreciate if you could advise on this, thanks. By the way, great videos.
