Michael Murphy: Navy SEAL, Medal of Honor.
He was the first member of the United States Navy to receive the award since the Vietnam War. Michael was also portrayed in the movie "Lone Survivor" ft. Mark Wahlberg.

he went to penn state, i walk past his memorial almost every day. crazy to believe he was walking to same campus as me and then went on to do this. his father came to a murph competition held there and he wore his sons trident on his suit. powerful.

So I work with his aunt. And the stories about this guy. He was truly the best of the best. Her and I chat from time to time with me being prior military and going to Afghanistan myself. And I am just aw struck by this man. What he did when he was home for his family and then his SEAL family. He is truly an American hero. And Marcus is here because of him. He made the tough call, more than once. And when called upon he made the ultimate sacrifice to keep his team alive.

Lt. Murphy made the ultimate sacrifice, serving his country. Our country. Can we also take a moment to remember the the Seals, and NightStalkers, who where unfortunately killed when a RPG hit their MH-47. They where sent to get our 4 Brave seals off that mountain and ended up making the ultimate sacrifice. Gone but never forgotten
