Thankfully mines modded and I just downloaded resident evil revelations today for free as it was the only game on the entire 3DS library that I was missing that I wanted!?

I already got everything else I wanted from both the 3DS & Wii U eShops, so I’m good.

I'll miss the 3DS and Wii U. Since I'm not getting most of the games due to privacy with adding funds to my Nintendo account. But, I'll cherish these memories with the games that I haven't played during the week when I got them during my middle school years in 2015. By the way, if you have the remaining balance of your 3DS or Wii U once the eShop closes does it import toward the Switch consoles when merging funds onto your Nintendo Network ID including gold coins. It doesn't make sense as to why a few 3DS games end on 3/29 such as Phoneix Wright Ace Attorney and a few genes which should be on 3/27 when all Wii U and 3DS shops closed for good. Maybe, Nintendo should not put the date specifically if it closed on Monday at 5pm PST. Good luck hack your 3DS or Wii U to get all the games you wanted.

I wish I could, my 3DS has a busted charging port and has been dead for almost 3 years now, and I don’t trust myself to open it up and replace it…

What sucks is I bought a $20 e shop card because i wanted to download Crystal and Pokemon Yellow but the problem is the code isnt working and it gives me some error code saying its no longer supported on nintendo devices. I ended up giving the card to my sister for her switch and it works. Does anyone know why i came across this issue

Technically you could still get anything after the closing if you homebrew it and I understand not everyone wants to hack their 3ds
And yes you can still redownload stuff on the eshop after the closure

I don't understand why Nintendo just closes down something that is profiting them. No one in their right mind would do that, and plus, they are not losing anything by just simply keeping the eShop open
