Thank you so much for all your content. I’m actually just breaking into this exact field right now at 44 yrs old.
I can’t afford a excavator yet, or a dump truck - but I have a Gehl skidsteer and a John Deere 4720 tractor. I have a 1000 foot gravel driveway to practice on and because I do snow plowing in the winter I get to find a lot of gravel laneways that can use a refreshing or repair. My tractor isn’t as big as yours but it’s a 66hp tractor and I use a 8 foot box blade too.
I recently bought a stump bucket for the skidsteer to help me cut in trenches quicker for when I need to install culverts for drainage.
I get a lot out of your video’s and am going to be saving as I can for a used 3-4 ton excavator ( hopefully next year ).

Worked for a tucking co. with a gravel lot. Same problem you're describing. I built a steel drag that I used behind the shop truck every couple weeks. Worked OK.
