RC Sproul once said in his sermon, we sin therefore we're sinners, not sinners therefore we sin..grace in the life of a believer is knowing he who knew no sin, Jesus Christ became sin, that we may become the righteousness of him, imputation by faith in Christ..

Calvinism, when quoting Romans 8:30..."and those whom he predestined he also called"...YOU need to go back to verse 29, "For those whom he FOREKNEW he also predestined to be conformed..." In other words, God called us because he already knew we would believe so he predestined us to be the image of his Son and do good works. Verse 29 seems to be left out when quoting Romans 8:30 regarding Calvinist's? God Bless

"Total Depravity"

Hmmm...to the "late" preacher...I went on the Web to find out; what the word "Depravity" really meant. Yes I know it is in the bible. But...what does IT really mean?" Because bibles many time leaves us in confusion?

So I wrote, "what does the word depravity mean; in the Bible?" And I saw this...

"A state of corruption due to original sin held in Calvinism to infect every part of man's nature and to make the natural man unable to know or obey God"s.

And the first words that my eye saw; was "Calvinism". And I immediately said, "Here we go again!" So to hell with that answer. For John Calvin was a VERY popular evangelist*...

And he was so popular; he garnered millions of followers to this day. And most of them made him a "god". Sad, but OH so true. But I must say, John was dead on; on some of his thesis; like "OSAS!". But when it comes to "Mid-Act Dispensation"; it's pure HOGWASH! And also the same for his "Total Depravity".

Yes, we ALL sin ALL the time from birth to death; but that does NOT mean we are all depraved; when we sin. So, he totally missed what Jesus said in...

John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

AND Jesus also said this in...

Mark 3:28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men (mankind) even blasphemies howsoever they shall blaspheme: Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit has never forgiveness, but will be a "damnation". (Which is hell).

Thus, those two "precious" verses by Jesus; negates totally what John Calvin espoused of his 2 theses. Because he let satan "brain wash" his heart, soul and mind. To believe things that simply were NOT True! But evil. And ALL of his fans; to this day; fell into that same "chicanery LIE". Sad, but OH so True.

End of Story and I rest me case....
