Making 8 Fields of Round Bales in a Day

What most impressive is that this happened in September with shorter days and there was at least thirty miles of road travel. I made almost 100 bales that day.

On Taylors dairy up in Central Maine she does a lot of the mowing and round bales work really good in her tie-stall barn for feeding. Her boss Brent does a lot of the work and they seem to get along well.

We had an 855 that had trouble in grass hay, try hard facing the leading edge of the slats on that roller, it might solve your problem. Worked great for us

I bought an 848 recently and haven’t run it yet. How do you initiate the tying of the bale? We haven’t been able to figure that out.

Are there supposed to be two shear bolts on the intake sprocket? I've always run my 848 with only one bolt, because if I remember correctly when you align the holes, there's only one thru hole? Maybe thats why I break the shear bolt so often.

well worth the effort, minus the tire, but tires are part of farming, use it till it breaks then put another used one, 90 bales will go a ways feeding the winter and you helped maintain local farm lands, 🥸🤓,Canada

Good good brother. Little late on mowing. When your grass is seeded out it has no nutritional value. Its just straw. Hit it a couple weeks sooner if you can
