What's the alternative to rosetta for Linux? I wonder if x86 games and, better still, x86 Windows games can be played via Proton

It runs games quite well. I am typing this from my raspberry pi running the unity desktop on ubuntu (I know it's very heavy but I like how it looks haha), and honestly I can say for certain the m1's software rendering is much more powerful than the raspberry pi 4's gpu in most cases. The m1 can play 4k video in firefox while the raspberry pi could barely even attempt to. And most of the comparisons I've done was using xfce or a window manager like sway to test performance (on xfce I disabled compositing) and even still it's slower than the m1 by a long way. Once the gpu drivers are finished I dare say it will the the best arm linux laptop for performance for years to come.

Some emulators would be nice to test too. There's a post from a couple years ago on the Dolphin forums where someone got it to compile and run at more or less full speed on a Raspberry Pi 4.
