I've been teaching for 25 years. Love my students, but I didn't give birth to them. I'm also a parent of a 13 year old. Parents- YOU are the one responsible for your kids... no one else.

Teachers are making the right choice, as a parent I'm not going to send my daughter back to school this Fall. Any decent parents who have a brain and common sense, who have the love & caring for their kids won't send their kids back to school Fall 2020

First they don’t get pay enough to start off with, they never get help with school supplies and have to use their own money and now they have to put their life on the line. I would quite too.

There is a huge teacher shortage which will continue to get worse. Educators are severely underpaid.

What happens to kids whose only guardian is an elderly grandparent or single parent with underlying illnesses? They will bring the virus home and end up orphaned in the foster care system. What a mess. Should've shut down right the 1st time.
