You might consider a sling system to split the weight of future large rocks. When I worked at Rent-A-Center we had these slings that we could lift refrigerators, stoves, and washer/dryers with ease. Heck, even a sack in the middle of a long pole would work fine for weight distribution. We had to do those sorts of things back in the scouts.
